At Rickus Ra you will find an eclectic mix of homewares, gifts, lifestyle products and colourful jewellery inspired by my travels across the globe.  With an emphasis on my favourite style of tropical & coastal living, I search the world for goodies typical to the region and like to bring back a dose of that nostalgic sunshine living.  Even before I started Rickus Ra I was hunting for unusual gifts for loved ones on my adventures and am passionate about talking to artisans about their craft (sometimes for hours!).  Now I work with a small group of artisans and sustainable suppliers bringing; pottery from Greece, soft textiles from Turkey, cork accessories from Portugal, home decorations from India & Indonesia, shwe shwe soft toys from South Africa and more.

Alongside curating homeware and gifts, I design and make colourful and bold earrings, releasing a couple of collections a year, made with clay, brass and gems.  My background has always been in the arts through studies and jobs and from a very young age I have been enthralled with crystals (this actually led to my Jewellery & Silversmithing degree).  So it was natural that they too became a part of what Rickus Ra has to offer.  I work with one or two select gemstone suppliers that have sustainable and ethical practices.  And with my main supplier I personally go to and hand pick individual towers, palmstones and freeforms to check not only for quality but immediate attraction.
